What to extract from UPPSC 2024
Prelims GS. Tag every item to History & Culture, Polity, Geography, Economy, Environment, Science, Current Affairs, or UP-specific GK. UP questions are the difference from a UPSC GS paper. Build a wrong-answer log; elimination under −0.44 is the skill.
CSAT. Do not treat 33% as automatic. Time the 2024 paper in 2 hours after you finish 2023 CSAT.
Mains GS 1–4. Same broad split as UPSC (history–society–geography; polity–governance; economy–agri–S&T–security; ethics), but examples and schemes often sit in the UP frame. Write a mix of 8-mark and 12-mark answers to the 2024 papers, not only the 2023 set.
GS 5 (UP). History, culture, architecture, 1857 and freedom struggle in UP, folk life, state polity (Governor, CM, legislature, local bodies), law and order, and UP current affairs.
GS 6 (UP). State economy, geography, demography, agriculture, energy, industry, forests, environment, and resources.
Place 2024 GS 5–6 next to 2023 GS 5–6. Themes that appear in both years are the core of a UP notes file. One year is a sample; two years is a pattern.
